How It Feels to Be a Fourth-Time Author

Nancy Ekpezu

April 5, 2023

Let me tell you about my new book, The Front Desk Officer's Companion, and how excited I am to share it with you. Do you want to know the best part? It's my fourth book! In case you haven't heard of me before, I've also written three other books: Dear Educator, The School Administrators Companion, and Effective Boarding House Administration.

Releasing my fourth book to the public has brought back memories of how I became an author. I wrote my first book when I was just eleven years old, but I was too shy and much of a perfectionist to get it published. Can you relate to that? I'm sure all the perfectionists out there can. Long story short, it was never published.

So when I finally wrote and published my first book Dear Educator in 2019, it was a huge breakthrough for me. I always knew I could write, but I lacked the courage to go for it. Maybe it was the publicity that came with it or the fact that I'm a pretty private person. But I'm so glad I took that leap of faith because writing and publishing my books have opened doors for me and allowed me to meet incredible people. The feedback I receive from my readers is priceless, and I even enjoy signing autographs with every book I sell. My readers appreciate the quality of my writing, the content, and the production value.

My second book, The School Administrators Companion, was published in May 2021, and I was thrilled that the quality exceeded people's expectations, thanks to my publisher, WORITAL who has worked with me on all three books. I've also received great feedback from readers and they appreciate the welth of experience I have shared in this book from my school administration journey.

My third book, Effective Boarding House Administration, was released in December 2021, and it was a huge success. Overall, I feel incredibly fulfilled as an author, and I hope to increase my marketing efforts to reach even more readers.

My books have been read in virtually every state in Nigeria and in other countries such as Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Cambodia, India, Tanzania, and Australia.

I plan to keep writing, and I'm excited to present The Front Desk Officer's Companion to you. This book is a guide to help you excel in your position as a front desk officer, regardless of the sector you work in. I've shared a lot, and you'll have to read the book to find out.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more about what front desk officers should know, and I'm excited to host a webinar soon. So don't forget to follow my hashtags #administrationwithnancy and #thefrontdeskofficerscompanion so you don't miss any updates about my new book and other exciting things I'll be sharing.

Thanks for reading!
