A school located in Elepe, Ikorodu is in urgent need of a Head of School and a Boarding House Parent. This school is a performing arts academy for talented but less privileged girls but also implements the academic curriculum used in regular schools. 

The Head of School will be in charge of supervising the academic team and ensuring that teaching and learning take place to meet the expectations of the School Board. She will also be in charge of introducing intervention programmes to support the reading and writing skills of the children who do not meet with their grade requirements. 

To perform on this role, the applicants need the following:

i. a degree in education or the performing arts (Dramatic Arts, Theatre Arts, etc)

ii.  very good communication skills 

iii. good computer skills

iv. very good critical thinking with an out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving 

v. a sincere willingness to work with indigent children or orphans 

The Boarding House Parent will be a live-in parent in the hostel and oversee the activities of the children. She is expected to be a mother and to eat with, groom, love and care for the children and ensure their assignments, projects and homework are done daily. She will work under the supervision of the Head of Boarding.

She is expected to have a visisble love for the children and the following:

i. Patience and empathy

ii. Good communication skills

iii. Knowledge of the psychology of children and teenagers

iv. At least a National Certificate of Education (NCE), or a first degree.
