'Dear Educator' is a heartfelt compilation of letters addressed to educators.
Each chapter shares robust principles and guides to equip educators with skills in navigating the ever dynamic and noble teaching profession.

'Dear Educator ' explores topics like mentorship, leadership skills , Teachers' professional development, The teacher and social media, The 21st century teacher among others.

Nancy skillfully applies beautifully crafted analogies in dissecting each topic. She also uses storytelling in enriching our imagination to view even her own experiences . What a beautiful way to show us that she has been there.

As I flipped through the pages ,I found myself reflecting on each topic and I couldn't agree more. She meticulously expatiates the crucial steps an educator must take to catapult his or her career. Thus; "Simply put , developing yourself personally and professionally will open doors for you ....."
"Start from where you are dear educator . Have a self-audit and decide the skills you need to develop to be the best at your job and in life ".

After reading this book,I made a detailed description of the areas I would like to improve on professionally. As I scale through each one ,I make a stroke across. This has been very helpful.

'Dear Educator ' further explores crucial areas like emotional intelligence, creating work-life balance, creating professional networks among others.
On professional networking, Nancy says,"I wish I could write this on a billboard and have you read it everyday as a reminder".
This is profound!

'Dear Educator' should be read by every educator and even people from other professions because the lessons are universal.

I also recommend this book for teachers in training in Colleges of Education and
Universities. I strongly believe it is a valuable resource for student teachers in preparing for the future of teaching.

The author penned her letters in simple English which makes it an interesting read for
anyone . The language is accessible and free of ambiguity and jargons .
Nancy's new book 'The School Administrator's Companion' is almost ready to get on the shelf and I can't wait to read it.

I am sure it is rich in nuggets to guide school administrators just as the cover suggests.
