Pezu Smith Consulting is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager (HR Generalist) to join our client’s school team in Isheri, Lagos-Ogun State Axis!
As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organisation, ensuring that all our roles are filled with the right talent while working so they are retained.

Your Responsibilities would include:
✅ Lead the recruitment process by posting job vacancies and conducting interviews.
✅ Identify and fill any vacant positions within the organisation with our laid down procedures and policies
✅ Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
✅ Review and ensure staff compliance with our staff handbook and policies.
✅ Monitor performance metrics and conduct performance evaluations.
✅ Implement HR software for seamless payroll, benefits, record-keeping, and performance tracking.
✅ Uphold workplace safety, ethical behaviour, and compliance with policies.
✅ Administer employee benefits and promote staff welfare.
✅ Oversee staff onboarding, orientation, recognition, and disciplinary programs.
✅ Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
✅ Develop and implement staff training and development initiatives.
✅ Maintain HR records, staff directory, and organisational chart.
✅ Stay updated on the latest HR trends and technologies.
Requirements:
✨ 3-5 years of relevant HR experience.
✨ Demonstrated organisational leadership skills.
✨ Proficiency in planning and using HR management software.
✨ Excellent communication and time management skills.
✨ Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
✨ Interpersonal skills and conflict resolution expertise.
✨ Previous experience in a school environment is a plus.
✨ Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences/HR Management preferred.
✨ CIPM certification would be an added advantage.
Salary:
Join our passionate team and enjoy a competitive remuneration range of N180,000 to over N200,000. We value diversity and welcome candidates of any gender between the ages of 35 to 40 years.
