Well, isn’t life full of pleasant surprises?
Just last month, I was at TOSEE in Lagos as a speaker, and guess what?
APEN has invited me to speak at their annual conference next month in Lagos, Nigeria!
Who'd have thought?
This goes to show when you stay diligent and consistent in your work, a lot can happen in your business, career or personal life. People you do not even know, are actually watching you. And they see how you have stayed committed to what you do, and how you do it.
Magical things happen, and while you are at it, you'll find yourself on the right stages without even trying. No hobnobbing and lobbying, doing all you can all in a bid to be in the right circles.
Not at all!
Have I told you I'm a TEDx speaker? Yes, I am oh! All by the grace of the God who multiplies the efforts I make. And my boast is truly of Him.
For anyone thinking they need to be a social butterfly or master networker, let me encourage you.
Just stay true to yourself and your values, (especially when it comes to integrity and diligence and consistency). You can be yourself and still get noticed by the right people. Just keep at it, whether you are a very sociable person or an introvert.
There's a place for networking.Very important! But there is something called the God factor.
Keep learning, and just be YOU. And don't forget to develop a good attitude. Believe me: integrity never hurts. And even if it hurts, it's just for a moment.bDon't try to pull anyone else down to get up. There's absolutely no need for that.
Trust the process. And God has this way of opening doors where you least expect. Doors will open to you of their own accord when you're ready behind the scenes.
Enough said! 🤪
Mark the dates: 26th and 27th of October!
APEN conferences are like the Oscars of education. Glitz, glamour, and a lot of academic and professional things to learn. Plus the right audience.
You'll want to be there!
And for those thinking, "But I'm from Kaduna, or Oyo, Calabar, Uyo, Enugu, or even Timbuktu!" - come on down!
Good knowledge knows no borders. Place a value on your professional development.
Check out the flyer, call the numbers for any questions about registration, and most importantly – let’s meet, greet, and learn!
And please don’t forget to take a selfie with me, oh! 😜
