I was determined to complete reading the very voluminous book 'The School of Money' by Dr. Olumide Emmanuel in the first quarter of 2023, although I had started reading the book in the last quarter of 2022. I had gone to visit my elder brother somewhere in Lagos when I decided to borrow the book. He was initially hesitant about letting me go with the book until I insisited and aslo promided to take good care of it.

"The School of Money" by Dr. Olumide Emmanuel is a practical guide to personal finance and wealth creation. The book emphasises the importance of financial literacy, discipline, and goal-setting in achieving financial freedom. It is written in a clear and concise manner, making it accessible to readers of all backgrounds.

The book covers various topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Olumide Emmanuel draws from his personal experience as a successful entrepreneur and financial expert to provide valuable insights and advice.

One of the key takeaways from the book is the importance of developing a wealth mindset. This involves adopting a positive attitude towards money and seeing it as a tool for creating opportunities and making a difference in the world. The author provides practical steps for developing a wealth mindset, including setting financial goals, creating a budget, and investing wisely.

In one of the chapters, he outlines various ideas for starting a business. In another, he guides how to employ the right staff for your business with emphasis on the character of the emplyees. He toucheds on ways to raise finds for businesses, too.

To be canddid, the school of money is not just one book. It's actually several books in one and has a whooping 669 pages!! Even though it was written in the 90's, there's still a lot to learn from the book.

What I do not like about the book is the quality of editing. I'm usually very particular about the quality of editing of any book I pick to read. I believe there would have been a better book than what it is, if it was given to a good editor to read through the manuscript first.

Overall, "The School of Money" is a highly recommended read for anyone looking to improve their financial literacy and create wealth. It is packed with actionable advice and inspiring stories of success, making it a valuable resource for both beginners and experienced investors alike.
