About the School:

Join the team at our client's well-established school in Enugu as we continue to grow and expand the boarding facilities. Our boarding house, which opened just last year, is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Female Boarding House Parent to support and guide our students. She must understand clearly how boarding houses operate.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor the well-being and safety of female students residing in the boarding house.
  • Implement and enforce boarding house rules and regulations.
  • Provide emotional support and mentorship to students, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Coordinate and participate in extracurricular activities and residential life programs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's boarding experience.
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to address student needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a boarding school environment is preferred (at least three years of experience).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathetic and compassionate demeanour.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of teenage psychology
  • Report writing skills
